- Asmiov's Foundation Series to be Filmed - Maybe it's my lack of imagination, or maybe I need to re-read them, but I can't remember thinking the books would make a great film ... spanning centuries, lots and lots of characters ... mmmhhh where did I file them ...
- Friday's Solar Eclipse can be viewed on-line - cool because I just can;t make it over to China, Russia or Canada this week
- Meteor Showers Tonight - if you missed the Delta Aquarid meteor shower the other day (I did) then try and catch the Capricornid meteor shower tonight ... although looking at the weather forecast around here it looks like clouds may be a problem, and that is supposing I am in the right hemisphere? .. alternatively you can just read some poetry about Meteors like this article suggests?

I surf, and I have been caught in a rip ...trust me it isn't funny ... know your sea
